The African
Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) has welcomed students
from Nyandarua National Polytechnic for an immersive career development
experience at its Nairobi headquarters. The engagement provided technical
students with rare exposure to real-world telecommunications environments and
emerging digital career pathways.

During
interactive sessions, industry specialists shared practical insights on
navigating Kenya's rapidly evolving ICT sector, with particular focus on
network engineering, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital transformation
applications. Students gained firsthand experience in AFRALTI's research
laboratories, observing live demonstrations of telecom infrastructure and
networking solutions that power Africa's digital ecosystems.
The institute's
hands-on approach allowed participants to interact with enterprise-grade
networking equipment and security systems used across Africa's telecom
sector.

As East
Africa's premier telecommunications training institution, AFRALTI continues
expanding its youth outreach programs to cultivate homegrown digital talent.
The Nyandarua National Polytechnic visit forms part of a broader initiative to
strengthen partnerships between technical training institutions and industry,
ensuring curricula remain aligned with current market demands.
Educators
accompanying the student delegation emphasized the visit's value in helping
learners make informed career choices while demonstrating the expansive
opportunities within Africa's growing ICT sector. AFRALTI has pledged to
sustain such industry-academia linkages as part of its commitment to developing
Africa's next generation of telecommunications experts and digital innovators.
