Guinea's Digital Economy Minister Rose Pola Pricemou Reappointed

Rose Pola Pricemou has been reappointed as Guinea's Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy following a presidential decree announced on national television on July 29, 2025. The renewal of her mandate signals continuity in the country's digital transformation agenda under President Mamadi Doumbouya's administration. 

In a heartfelt statement, Minister Pricemou expressed profound gratitude to President Doumbouya for his renewed trust, while acknowledging Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah's instrumental support. She credited her family's unwavering encouragement as foundational to her public service, thanking her husband, children and extended family for their steadfast support throughout her ministerial tenure. 

The reappointment comes at a pivotal moment for Guinea's digital development, with ongoing projects to expand connectivity, modernize postal services and accelerate the nation's transition to a digital economy. Minister Pricemou pledged to approach her renewed mandate with humility and reinforced commitment, aligning her efforts with the government's strategic vision for technological advancement. 

"Digital transformation remains central to our national development agenda," the Minister affirmed, referencing Guinea's progress in telecom infrastructure and e-government services during her previous term.
