Gabon’s National
Agency for Digital Infrastructures and Frequencies (ANINF) has signed a memorandum
of understanding with ST Digital. The agreement establishes a collaborative
framework to enhance Gabon's technological autonomy while fostering innovation
and cybersecurity.
ANINF Director
General, Alberto Wenceslas Mounguengui Moudoki and ST Digital CEO Laïcka Mba
formalized the partnership at ANINF headquarters, outlining joint initiatives
to modernize Gabon's digital ecosystem. The collaboration will focus on
developing secure digital infrastructure, promoting local tech talent, and
implementing transparent governance frameworks for emerging technologies.

"This
partnership represents our shared commitment to building a digitally sovereign
Gabon," stated Moudoki during the signing
ceremony. The agreement enables knowledge transfer between ANINF's regulatory
expertise and ST Digital's technological capabilities, particularly in cloud
computing, data analytics, and smart city solutions.
Key projects include
the co-development of cybersecurity protocols for critical digital
infrastructure and specialized training programs to build Gabonese technical
capacity. The partners will also collaborate on digital identity systems and
e-government platforms designed to improve service delivery nationwide.

The ANINF-ST Digital
alliance aligns with Gabon's Emerging Digital Economy Strategy 2025, which
prioritizes homegrown technological solutions over foreign dependencies.
Industry analysts note the partnership's potential to position Gabon as a
regional hub for secure digital innovation while creating high-value employment
opportunities in the ICT sector.
With implementation
beginning immediately, the collaboration marks a decisive step in Gabon's
journey toward technological self-reliance and inclusive digital development.
