A high-level
delegation from Code Raccoon Limited recently met with Ghana’s Deputy Minister
of Education, Hon. Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, and senior directors at the Ministry
of Education to discuss innovative strategies for digitising education in the
country. The visit followed a prior engagement with the Minister for
Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovation, Hon. Samuel Nartey George,
as part of ongoing efforts to explore potential collaborations in the EdTech
space.

The delegation,
led by Code Raccoon’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jörn Halsinger, included
the German Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Daniel Krull, and Emily Okine,
Office Manager in charge of Corporate Relations. During the meeting, the team
presented a detailed proposal for a locally developed digital education
platform designed to enhance teaching and learning experiences across
Ghana.
Jörn Halsinger
explained that the platform was specifically designed to address digital gaps
in Ghana’s education system by providing interactive, curriculum-aligned
e-learning content accessible to students and educators nationwide. He
expressed optimism about the growing stakeholder interest in the initiative and
reaffirmed Code Raccoon’s commitment to collaborating with the government and
development partners to integrate the platform into national education
programmes.

Deputy
Education Minister Hon. Dr. Clement Abas Apaak welcomed the proposal,
describing it as a timely intervention that aligns with the Ministry’s broader
goal of leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes. He emphasised the
importance of such innovations in ensuring equitable access to quality
education, particularly in underserved communities.
German
Ambassador Daniel Krull reiterated Germany’s support for educational innovation
in Ghana, praising Code Raccoon’s initiative as a strong complement to Ghana’s
digital transformation agenda. He highlighted the platform’s potential to
strengthen bilateral cooperation between Germany and Ghana in education and
technology, reinforcing the shared commitment to sustainable development
through digital solutions.

The meeting
marked a significant step forward in Ghana’s push toward a more digitised
education system, with stakeholders expressing confidence in the transformative
impact of Code Raccoon’s platform.
