The Vodacom
Tanzania Foundation has taken center stage as the lead partner for CSO Week
2025, a major continental gathering of over 600 civil society organizations in
Tanzania. Foundation Director Zuweina Farah set the tone for the five-day event
by emphasizing the critical need for cross-sector collaboration to achieve
national development goals.

"Pathways
to Progress," this year's theme, reflects the urgent call for
organizations to break down silos and forge new alliances. The event features
knowledge-sharing clinics, field immersions, and strategic dialogues designed
to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals. Farah's
opening remarks underscored Vodacom Tanzania Foundation's commitment to
collective action, positioning the organization as a catalyst for inclusive
growth through technology and partnerships.

As Tanzania's
civil society converges with continental counterparts, CSO Week 2025 emerges as
a vital platform for reimagining development approaches. The Foundation's
leadership role highlights the growing recognition of corporate-social sector
partnerships in addressing complex challenges, from digital inclusion to
climate resilience. This year's convening promises to yield concrete
partnerships and innovative solutions that leverage Tanzania's vibrant civil
society ecosystem for measurable impact.
