Kenyan Space Agency
hosted a multi-stakeholders workshop in collaboration with RIIS - Research
Institute for Innovation and Sustainability dubbed "Road to Space
Greatness.”

The one-day
workshop, supported by the United Kingdom International Development (UKID)
through the Research and Innovation Systems for Africa Fund (The RISA Fund),
brought together key stakeholders for vibrant ideation and brainstorming
sessions. The goal was to map Kenya's space ecosystem, identify stakeholders,
and understand the sector landscape to guide necessary interventions for growth
and investment.

The
multisectoral dialogue yielded invaluable insights and perspectives, shaping
the development of a robust and inclusive innovation roadmap for Kenya's space
sector. The long-term goal is to tap into the billion-dollar global space
economy.

The event saw
participation from esteemed individuals, including Charles Mwangi, Davis Cook,
Kiringai Kamau, Yankho Likaku, Lindokuhle S. Paleesha Naidoo, Shameemah Bull,
Maheen Parbhoo, Olivia Mwaniki, Esther Maina, Johnmark O. Byron, ANANGWE
Gerald, Yegon Kenneth, Mubea Mercy, and Corps.

The successful
workshop laid the foundation for Kenya's space greatness, and the organizers
extend their gratitude to all participants for sharing their insights,
expertise, and enthusiasm.
