As
part of his State visit to Rwanda, Senegal’s President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has visited IREMBO, the national platform
driving the digitalization of public services in Rwanda.
President
Faye was received by Rwanda’s Secretary of State for ICT and Innovation, who
provided a detailed presentation of the IREMBO model, widely recognized as a
continental benchmark for digital governance and the simplification of
administrative procedures.

The
visit offered an opportunity for both delegations to exchange insights on
digital transformation, innovation, and the development of online public
service systems. Discussions centered on how such policies can enhance state
modernization and promote digital inclusion across Africa.
IREMBO
has become a leading example of how technology can streamline access to
government services, and President Faye’s visit underscores Senegal’s
commitment to learning from successful digital governance models to advance its
own public sector reforms.
