The
Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Digital Economy (MPTEN) of Guinea has
held the closing ceremony for the 6th edition of the Huawei “Seeds for the
Future” 2025 program, an initiative designed to train and inspire young digital talent.
The
ceremony, chaired by His Excellency Amadou Oury Bah, Prime Minister and Head of
Government, took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the
People’s Republic of China to Guinea, several members of government, the General Manager of
Huawei Guinea,
and the program’s beneficiaries and their families.

The
global Huawei initiative, implemented in over 130 countries, provides hands-on
training for young people in emerging technologies. For this edition, ten Guinean students completed an intensive training
program in China, focusing on 5G, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence,
and Digital Energy.
Speaking
at the ceremony, officials praised the partnership between Guinea, China, and
Huawei as a
model of productive cooperation that builds national capacity in the digital
sector.

The
initiative aligns with the vision of President General Mamadi Doumbouya, who has emphasized digital
transformation as a key driver of sovereignty, innovation, and employment for Guinean youth.
