The Agency for Information Systems and Digital Technology (ASIN) on Thursday, October 8, 2026, brought together Directors of Information Systems from the public and private sectors for the Conference of Information Systems Directors (CDSI) to discuss the prospects for public digital technology and the transition towards smarter administration.

The meeting, attended by the Minister of Digital Transformation and Innovation, Mahuna Akplogan, was held under the theme “Digital Benin: from dematerialization to smart administration”.

The conference featured a Talk with the Minister, exchange panels and several keynotes devoted to major digital transformations. Participants explored the prospects offered by artificial intelligence, expected developments in public information systems, and the digital infrastructure and cybersecurity challenges accompanying the transformation.

Discussions focused on accelerating the transition to a smarter, connected government enriched by emerging technologies to sustainably improve the quality of public services.

Through the initiative, ASIN aims to promote the sharing of experiences, collective reflection and cooperation among digital players.

The Conference of Information Systems Directors serves as a framework for exchanges between ASIN and information systems managers from ministries, institutions, agencies and companies.
