The Centre for Digital
Public Infrastructure (CDPI) has highlighted growing momentum across Ethiopia’s
digital public infrastructure (DPI) ecosystem following an in-country visit
focused on digital identity, payments, government services and digital agriculture.
During the visit, CDPI
engaged with teams working across Ethiopia’s DPI landscape to learn from their
progress and explore areas where it could continue to contribute to the
country’s digital transformation efforts.
CDPI said it was impressed
by the momentum across Ethiopia’s DPI ecosystem and by the energy and
commitment of teams driving initiatives in key areas of the digital economy.
The organisation engaged
with teams at Fayda National ID, EthSwitch, ArifPay Financial Technologies, the
Ministry of Agriculture & Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI), and
MESOB.
The discussions provided an
opportunity for CDPI to learn about the work being undertaken by the
organisations and explore areas for continued collaboration as Ethiopia’s
digital public infrastructure develops.
CDPI said it looks forward
to staying connected and continuing to work alongside the teams as Ethiopia’s
digital public infrastructure continues to evolve.
