Sonatel Chief Executive
Officer Brelotte Ba has been recognised for the company’s performance on the
stock market during the second edition of the Salon de l’Actionnariat – Bénin
2026.
Ba received the recognition
during an awards evening held on the sidelines of the forum, which took place
in Benin under the theme “Shareholding and Financial Sovereignty: Mobilising
Savings to Accelerate Economic Transformation.”
The event brought together
companies and other stakeholders committed to strengthening the investment
culture and promoting savings as a tool for economic development.
Ba attended the opening
ceremony of the forum on Thursday, September 17, alongside Omar Guèye Ndiaye,
CEO of SBIN, the Benin-based company operating under delegated management by
Sonatel.
The recognition for Ba
highlighted Sonatel’s results and its contribution to the development of the
regional financial market.
The second edition of the
Salon de l’Actionnariat – Bénin 2026 provided a platform for discussions on
shareholding, savings mobilisation and the role of financial markets in
supporting economic transformation.
Celtiis Bénin said the
recognition reflects Sonatel’s performance on the stock market and its
commitment to strengthening the regional financial ecosystem.
