Telecommunications Ethiopia has launched a four-day leadership development
programme aimed at enhancing team effectiveness and strengthening leadership
capability across the organisation’s senior management cadre.
The
programme, known as Leader Labs, commenced on 29 June 2026 in Addis Ababa with
participation from the company’s Executive Committee (EXCO), and will continue
through 2 July 2026 with Executive Heads of Department joining subsequent
sessions.
Designed
as a structured leadership development intervention, the initiative seeks to
equip senior leaders with practical tools, insights, and approaches to improve
team performance and support the company’s long-term strategic objectives
within Ethiopia’s rapidly evolving telecommunications sector.
The
programme is being delivered by Bridge Management Limited, an international
team effectiveness training provider, and facilitated by executive leadership
coach Virginie Nothard, who brings extensive experience in delivering similar
leadership programmes across Africa within the Vodafone Group ecosystem.
Safaricom
Ethiopia noted that the training forms part of its broader commitment to
building strong leadership capacity and fostering a high-performance culture
capable of driving sustainable growth and innovation in the country’s digital
economy.
