The
Autorité de Régulation des TIC (ARTCI) has convened key stakeholders of Côte
d’Ivoire’s digital ecosystem at the Peering Days 2026 held at the Azalaï Hotel
Abidjan, bringing together industry actors for discussions on network
interconnection, internet infrastructure resilience, and the future of digital
connectivity in the country.
The
second edition of the event served as a platform for technical exchanges,
policy dialogue, and industry collaboration, with participants including
network operators, internet service providers, infrastructure specialists, and
other stakeholders within the digital value chain.
Discussions
centered on the strategic role of peering in enhancing internet efficiency,
reducing latency, and strengthening the overall stability of national and
regional connectivity systems. Participants also examined how improved
interconnection frameworks can contribute to greater digital sovereignty and
support the sustainable development of Côte d’Ivoire’s internet ecosystem.
Through
panel sessions and professional engagements, the event highlighted growing
industry consensus on the need for more robust peering arrangements to support
increasing data demand and digital transformation across sectors.
ARTCI
underscored its commitment to fostering a more resilient and competitive
digital environment through continuous stakeholder engagement and regulatory
facilitation aimed at improving internet infrastructure performance.
The
regulator expressed appreciation to all partners, experts, and participants who
contributed to the success of this year’s edition, reaffirming the importance
