MTN Rwanda has held
discussions with the Hon. Minister of Youth and Arts to explore areas of
collaboration aimed at strengthening youth empowerment and supporting the
growth of Rwanda’s creative industry.
The engagement brought
together representatives of MTN Rwanda and the Ministry to identify synergies
between both institutions, with a focus on expanding opportunities for young
people and enhancing the country’s creative ecosystem.
According to MTN Rwanda, the
meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to empowering young people through
targeted initiatives that promote skills development, innovation, and
participation in the digital economy.
The discussions also
highlighted the importance of nurturing the creative community as a key driver
of employment, cultural expression, and economic growth within Rwanda’s broader
development agenda.
Both parties emphasized the
potential for collaboration in leveraging digital platforms and
telecommunications infrastructure to support youth-led innovation and creative
entrepreneurship.
MTN Rwanda noted that the
engagement forms part of its ongoing efforts to work with government
institutions and stakeholders to advance inclusive growth and expand access to
opportunities for young people across the country.
The company reiterated its
commitment to supporting national priorities focused on youth development,
digital transformation, and the strengthening of Rwanda’s creative and
innovation sectors.
