Ooredoo Algeria has been awarded in the “Resilience
and Sustainable Territorial Innovation” category at the CSR Awards Algeria
2026, held during the 2nd edition of the Algerian Forum for Corporate Social
Responsibility.
The recognition highlights the company’s efforts in
advancing sustainable development initiatives and contributing to territorial
resilience through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
The ceremony brought together corporate leaders,
policymakers, and development stakeholders to discuss evolving approaches to
CSR in the country. The forum focused on strengthening inclusive and impactful
social responsibility practices across sectors.

As part of the event, Ooredoo Algeria
also participated in a panel discussion titled “From CSR to CSR: Towards
Inclusive Social Responsibility.” The session featured the company’s Director
of Corporate Affairs, Ramdane Djezairi,
who contributed to discussions on the role of businesses in promoting inclusive
and sustainable development.
Organisers of the forum noted that
the awards aim to recognise organisations demonstrating leadership in
integrating sustainability and social responsibility into their operations,
while supporting broader national development goals.
The
recognition places Ooredoo Algeria among companies actively contributing to CSR
innovation and sustainable territorial development in Algeria.
