Guinea participates in Universal Postal Union Congress

The Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, and the Digital Economy (MPTEN) of Guinea, Rose Pola Pricemou  has participated in the plenary sessions of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Congress in Dubai. The Guinean delegation included His Excellency Mr. Sékou Chérifé Camara, Ambassador of Guinea to the United Arab Emirates, and Mr. Safa Tounkara, Director General of Guinea Post S.A.

The Congress, which brings together UPU member states, aims to elect the Union's governing bodies, including the Postal Operations Council (POC) and the Council of Administration (CA). Key agenda items include voting on new operating procedures, addressing governance and financial management issues, and defining strategic directions to adapt the postal sector to the challenges of digitization and globalization.

On the sidelines of the Congress, bilateral meetings were held with ministerial counterparts, heads of delegations, and strategic partners. These discussions, characterized by mutual respect and collaboration, strengthened international cooperation and opened new avenues for partnership.
