Alipay has
introduced a groundbreaking AI agent payment solution at the 2025
INCLUSION·Conference on the Bund in Shanghai. The innovation enables artificial
intelligence agents to directly process transactions on behalf of users,
marking a significant advancement in conversational commerce.
The feature is
now operational within Luckin Coffee’s mobile application and its Alipay
mini-program in China. This integration allows consumers to place coffee orders
and complete payments seamlessly through natural language interactions with
Lucky AI, Luckin’s dedicated AI assistant.
This
implementation represents the first fully integrated solution in China where an
AI agent manages both the ordering and payment processes within a single
conversational interface, offering a more intuitive and efficient user
experience.
