Minister of
Digital Transition and Digitalization of Côte d'Ivoire, Kalil Konaté has
continued a series of strategic bilateral meetings during the 28th Universal
Postal Union (UPU) Congress in Dubai. The meetings, held on Tuesday, September
16, 2025, mark a significant phase in the nation's postal sector diplomacy.

Accompanied by
His Excellency Mr. Diaby Vacaba, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to the United Arab
Emirates, Minister Konaté held productive discussions with delegations from
Qatar, Kenya, and Cambodia. The meetings, which included Mr. Isaac Gnamba-Yao,
Ivorian candidate for the position of Deputy Director of the UPU Office,
focused on strengthening partnerships in postal sector innovation and digital
transformation.

The warm
reception extended to the Ivorian delegation reflects the country's growing
influence in international postal affairs and the credibility of its candidacy.
These diplomatic efforts build upon a successful reception hosted by the
Ivorian delegation earlier in the week, which provided a platform for
presenting Mr. Gnamba-Yao's candidacy in a spirit of international fraternity
and collaboration.
