In a unanimous decision, Ghana has been re-elected to chair the African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA) for a second term. The election took place today during the 6th ANCA meeting in Rabat, Morocco.

The Ag. Director General of Ghana's Cyber Security Authority (CSA), Divine Selase Agbeti will continue to lead the regional body, which was established by the Smart Africa Secretariat to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation and coordination across the continent.

Under Ghana's leadership since 2023, ANCA has successfully developed and adopted a five-year strategy and constitution, establishing a framework for collective action among member states. The network brings together national cybersecurity authorities and agencies from across Africa to foster collaboration, share expertise, and ensure continental representation in global cybersecurity engagements.

Ghana's re-election demonstrates the confidence of member states in the country's leadership and reaffirms its commitment to advancing cybersecurity initiatives throughout the African region.
