The Ministry of
Communication, Telecommunications, and Digital Affairs has convened a
Coordination Committee meeting to review progress on the national data exchange
interoperability platform, officially launched on April 22, 2025. The meeting
served to assess current advancements and validate the roadmap for forthcoming
implementation stages.

The platform is
designed to enable seamless and secure data exchange between ministries, public
agencies, and private entities, with the goal of providing citizens and
businesses faster, more reliable, and more accessible public services. The
first phase of the project, scheduled for delivery at the end of December 2025,
is expected to bring tangible benefits including accelerated social assistance
for vulnerable families, enhanced revenue mobilization and governmental
transparency, simplified administrative procedures, and new opportunities for
innovation through secure data access.

This initiative
aligns with the vision of the New Deal for Technology and the Senegal 2050
agenda, supporting the modernization of public administration, optimization of
resources, and the country’s strategic positioning as a digital hub in Africa.
The
interoperability project represents a significant step toward more effective
governance, inclusive services, and a competitive digital economy.
