Smart Africa is
hosting the 6th Meeting of the African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities
(ANCA) today on the sidelines of the Regional Cybersecurity Week in Rabat. The
meeting brings together the continental cooperative organization responsible
for coordinating cybersecurity matters across Africa.
The assembly
will focus on reviewing the implementation of ANCA’s strategy, now in its
second year, and will conduct elections for the organization’s new bureau.
Following the
meeting, a high-level capacity-building session will be held under the theme
“Cyber-Diplomacy and Best Practices of AI in Cybersecurity.” The training will
gather Directors of National Cybersecurity Authorities from 26 African
countries to strengthen both institutional and technical capabilities in
addressing the evolving cyber threat landscape and leveraging artificial
intelligence for enhanced digital resilience.
ANCA was
established by Smart Africa and its member countries to strengthen continental
cybersecurity, combat cybercrimes and threats, and ensure the resilience of
Africa's digital future.
