The Minister of
Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has met with the
newly inaugurated board of directors of Namibia Post Limited (NamPost) on
Monday to discuss key operational matters and reaffirm the ministry's support
for the postal corporation.
During the
meeting, Minister Theofelus commended NamPost for its adherence to principles
of good governance and expressed her commitment to ensuring the organization
receives the necessary support to fulfill its mandate. Discussions focused on
NamPost’s readiness to manage critical national initiatives, including the
Social Grant Management system and the Youth Fund.
The minister
emphasized the important role of NamPost in supporting the government’s broader
national development agenda and delivering essential services to the Namibian
people.
