The Ministry of
Information, Communications and Technology has been awarded the prestigious
Best Government Stand Award at the Eswatini International Trade Fair 2025 Stand
Excellence Awards. This accolade recognizes the Ministry's outstanding efforts
in showcasing and advancing the nation's digital transformation agenda.
The
award-winning stand, an immersive futuristic ICT Hub, served as a dynamic
showcase of the government's commitment to digital innovation. Central to the
exhibit was the "Government In Your Hand" Digital Kiosk, a pioneering
initiative designed to bring public services closer to citizens. Visitors
experienced a range of cutting-edge emerging technologies and attended digital
skills workshops aimed at fostering a more digitally literate society.
A highlight of
the stand was the platform given to young local innovators, who presented
homegrown technological solutions designed to improve everyday life for
Emaswati. Their contributions underscored the vibrant potential of the nation's
digital entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The Ministry
extended a heartfelt appreciation to its dedicated team for their tireless work
in bringing the visionary exhibit to life. Gratitude was also expressed to its
affiliated agencies and strategic partners for their invaluable support, and to
the exhibitors whose outstanding contributions effectively demonstrated
futuristic digital transformation in action.
